INSPIRATION OF THE WEEK

With 8 Academy and 35 nominations she is the one of the most recognized woman in history Mrs. EDITH HEAD.

She starts out her costume designer creator as a sketch art. Was known for those great sketch but, to land that first job she used some other student sketch and long we her own. But with over 1000 film other her belt, show she able to stand alone as one of the great costume designer of all time.

As a young girl watching old movie I always look in the credit at the end to see who the designer? The names Edith Head was always there. Designing the costume for movies like, All About Eve, Place in the sun, The Sting, and The Ten Commandments, just to name a few.  Some of the Hollywood starlets who grace her designs, May West, Audrey Hepburn, and Sophia Loren.

I just love read about Edith Head, it a great story and not without a little drama. With her bottom up look and those glasses!!! Job well done thank you Mrs. Edith Head for being my INSPIRATION OF THE WEEK
